DOGPOP is a collaboration of ANENZEPHALIA, THOROFON and friends. After a joint performance they collected material recorded throughout the past few years. The result was "Popgod" (POP1, 2003). In 2009,
DOGPOP returned with their new album "Jahrmarkt der verlorenen Kinder" (UMB007, 2009). Their sound oscillates between minimal cold electronic classics with distinctive German vocals and soundtrack-like nightmares bearing a touch of Antipop DOGPOP acts as a criticism of the ultimate consumption, a cut-up mirrorpool of odd dreams.
Optimized to 85% perfection.

Being a member of the legendary, now defunct German industrial project THOROFON, GENEVIÉVE PASQUIER
released her first soloalbum in 2003. Her first record, "Virgin Thoughts" (UMB002, 2003) caused
enthusiastic reactions by both listeners and reviewers. People praised her mix of electronic/post-industrial
music and 80s-minimal-electro with a frigid but soulful voice. GENEVIÉVE PASQUIER´s very specific sound developed continually
and soon lead to her signing on Ant-Zen. These even tempered tracks attracted a
German and international fan base. The following Ant-Zen releases, "Soap Bubble Factory" (act181) and "Virgin Pulses" (act191),
as well as her famous live performances have made GENEVIÉVE PASQUIER one of the most well-known female noise and industrial artists in the underground.
In 2009 GENEVIÉVE returns with "Le Cabaret Moi" (Ant-Zen act 231) and a set of fascinating concerts.

A bavarian fiction infused with pagan and christian mysticism. Drawing heavily from rural lore, legends of
blood-covered martyrs and the inevitabilty of nature, JÄGERBLUT (A.Knilpert, G.Pasquier, G.Tonal, T.Nagual) try to find their roots within the context
of modernity. The music itself ranges from whimsical folk to ritualistic versions of the local styles, not to
forget the non too subtle moments of industrial sounds. Daring to see the comical in the tragedy and
always wandering between sadness and exultation, the experience of JÄGERBLUT is that of the world being
full of dark poetry.
Brav sein!

Before THOROFON there was KOMMANDO. Anton Knilpert´s first Industrial / Powerelectronics project in the 1990ies. Two tapes
had been released before Knilpert started THOROFON. Years later he rearranged old unreleased material of KOMMANDO for two
fulltime CDs - "Necroinvasiv" (L.White Rec., 2007) and "Crimefactory" (UMB008, 2009). Several live concerts followed.

In 2005 two young men decided to create sound by taking some brick stones and smashing
them against the next wall in a quite rhytmic way - M.A.O. (standing for MELODIC ABORTION ORCHESTRA)
was born. Using various equipment reaching from different metal utilites, self-built sound
generators, analogue drums and synths or even old bicycles M.A.O. create an odd atmospheric
sound somewhere between dada and psychic exhaustion.
Is it art? - No, it s worse!

Risen from the ashes of THOROFON, THE MUSICK WRECKERS made themselves free of any classic genre conventions, concepts and dogmas.
They have been quite buisy since their first appearance on gnark.com´s 10th anniversary 7" in 2005. Several live shows, sampler tracks and
the first full-length release "Mission Mass Media" (LNA011) brought THE MUSICK WRECKERS closer to the audience. But not close enough
- the work on their next album is in progress

The story of UMB began with THOROFON. Anton Knilpert and Genevieve Pasquier project stood in the artistic and musicial tradition of Throbbing Gristle and SPK, but soon
developed an own easy-to-recognize style. Their prolific career in the international Post-Industrial scene began
with "Maximum Punishment Solutions" (LP, Stateart) back in 1997 and the 7" "Littleton",
succeded by several 7"es and the two full-time releases "Final Movement" (UMB001, 2001) and "New Heroes" (UMB003, 2005). The latter completing
the conceptual "Supression - Revolution - Opression" trilogy of three studio albums THOROFON was created for.
With "New Heroes" the trilogy came to it´s end - and so did THOROFON.
In May 2010 they announced to return, their first live action taking place in Erlangen in December!

Everybody knows how catchy harmonies have to sound, TONAL Y NAGUAL know why they avoid them. Their music stands beyond the usual listening habits. It deliberately jumps from one mood to another, swinging bravely between spheres and rhytm. Their sound incorporates elements from Anarcho-Industrial to folkloristic Ambient, which is said to be reminiscent of COIL.
The creative heads behind TYN are Giuseppe Tonal (also: Nullgrad) & Tikki Nagual.
Every single piece of this acoustic bag
of wonders is an experience, each clear melody a misunderstanding. TONAL Y NAGUAL just put out their
new album "La Sierra Mecánica", providing the peak of their creative output so far.
