Anton Knilpert and Genevieve Pasquier, the residents and one of the leaders of the German industrial
scene resistance - strong individual and provocative band Thorofon, working in veins of the sound
ideology traditions of Throbbing Gristle and SPK. Their prolific career in power electronics scene began
when they released their first album Maximum Punishment Solutions and the single titled Littleton,
succeded by several 7"es and the other two full-time releases Final Movement and New Heroes.
The mission Thorofon was terminated in 2005.

Being a member of the legendary, now defunct german industrial project thorofon, genevi ve pasquier
released her first work as a solo artist in 2003. her first record, Virgin Thoughts (UMB002) caused
enthusiastic reactions by both listeners and reviewers. the result was mix of electronic/post-industrial
music and 80s-minimal-electro with a frigid but soulful voice. these even tempered tracks attracted a
german and international fan base. the Soap Bubble Factory (act181) and Virgin Pulses (act191) cds have
been released by ant-zen and made genevieve the "noise chansonette" institution.

A hard-to-describe project of Anenzephalia, Thorofon and friends, who gathered after a performance to
collect material that was recorded over the past few years. The result is a release that flows between
minimal cold electronic classics with a distinctive German voice and soundtrack-like dreams with a
touch of antipop. Dogpop acts as a criticism of the ultimate consumption and perfection, mixed with
cut-up technology.

A bavarian fiction infused with pagan and christian mysticism. Drawing heavily from rural lore, legends of
blood-covered martyrs and the inevitabilty of nature, the musicians try to find their roots within the context
of modernity. The music itself ranges from whimsical folk to ritualistic versions of the local styles, not to
forget the non too subtle moments of industrial sounds. Daring to see the comical in the tragedy and
always wandering between sadness and exultation, the experience of J gerblut is that of the world being
full of dark poetry. Behave!

Everybody knows how catchy harmonies are supposed to sound. But Tonal y Nagual know exactly why
they try to avoid them. Their music exists beyond the usual listening habits. It jumps eloquently from
one mood to the next and swings bravely between spheric and rythmic poles. Their spectrum reaches from
Anarcho-Industrial to folkloristic Ambient, which is sometimes reminiscent of Coil. But even that influence
is not too obvious in the music of Giuseppe Tonal & Tikki Nagual. Every single piece of this acoustic bag
of wonders is an experience, each clear melody a misunderstanding.

In 2005 two young men decided to create sound by taking some brick stones and smashing
them against the next wall in a quite rhytmic way - MAO (standing for Melodic Abortion Orchestra)
was born. Using various equipment reaching from different metal utilites, self-built sound
generators, analogue drums and synths or even old bicycles MAO create an odd atmospheric
sound somewhere between dada and psychic exhaustion.
Is it art? - No, it s worse!
