UMB009 GENEVIÉVE PASQUIER: HANDLE WITH CARE
Intelligent Pop / Minimal / Electro
"Handle With Care" brings GENEVIÉVE PASQUIER back to UMB for a short, but hot release. Minimalistic, exhibitionistic,
emotional, cosy and powerful at once, these 7 tracks will make you dance, move and think. "Dead Man" and "Colourful Grey" are destined
for the quality dancefloors of Europe. Served in a special surprise box.

|
UMB008 KOMMANDO: CRIMEFACTORY
PowerElectronics / Industrial
On "Crimefactory" Dan Courtman once more searched through the UMB archives and found unreleased tapes of the pre-Thorofon project KOMMANDO. After a careful selection process, Courtman took the old material, rearranged it and thereby created a haunting piece of raw powerelectronics. A pounding, seldomly straight record.
"Bones Under Skin" will crack the dancefloor.

 |

|
UMB007/POP3 DOGPOP: JAHRMARKT DER VERLORENEN KINDER
Minimal / Dada Elektronika / NDW
Thirteen tracks of abstract weirdness, entertaining anti-pop tunes presented in doggy dancefloor style. "Jahrmarkt der verlorenen Kinder" is the modern incarnation of dadaistic German New Wave (e.g. Der Plan, Pyrolator, Der Mußikant, DAF),
but also integrates more modern lo-fi tunes and post-industrial structures.
"Dogporn schauen ist gesund! Freut den Vater und den Hund!"

UMB006 JÄGERBLUT: TANNÖD
Soundtrack / Ambient / Folk
JÄGERBLUT´s new release "Tannöd" is the legal and licensed background sound of the successful, official stage play to a very special and haunting part of Bavarian history.
On "Tannöd" JÄGERBLUT (Anton Knilpert, Geneviéve Pasquier, Tikki Nagual, Giuseppe Tonal) unite spheric soundscapes with folkloristic influences and powerful rhytms to a coherent piece of extraordinary music. "Tannöd" retells the enthralling, cruel crime tale from a different perspective.

|
UMB005 JÄGERBLUT: 1806-1906
Bavarian Folk / Ambient / Traditional / Modern Volksmusik
The work of JÄGERBLUT (eng:Hunter's Blood) can best be described as listening to a musical narrative, told in several parts forming a larger story of another time and place.
A bavarian fiction infused with pagan and christian mysticism. Drawing heavily from rural lore, legends of blood-covered martyrs and the inevitabilty of nature, the musicians try to find their roots within the context of modernity.
The music itself ranges from whimsical folk to ritualistic versions of the local styles, not to forget the non too subtle moments of industrial sounds.

|
UMB004 TONAL Y NAGUAL: THE UNSEEN DESERTS
Electronica / Intelligent Pop / Rock´ N TRonics
Everybody knows how catchy harmonies have to sound, TONAL Y NAGUAL know why they avoid them. Their music stands beyond the usual listening habits. It deliberately jumps from one mood to another, swinging bravely between spheres and rhytm. Their sound incorporates elements from Anarcho-Industrial to folkloristic Ambient, which is said to be reminiscent of COIL.

UMB003 THOROFON: NEW HEROES
Industrial / Powerelectronics / Angstpop
"We keep an eye on you!" - with this last message on the back-cover of "New Heroes" THOROFON ceased to exist after 10 years of existance and musicial development. In 2010 they announced
their comeback.
On "New Heroes", their journey took them from harsh Power Electronics through Old-School Industrial and even Minimal Electronics. All these styles were united on "New Heroes" which marked the final chapter of the THOROFON-trilogy ("Maximum Punishment Solutions", "Final Movement", "New Heroes"). It was their most sinister and apocalyptic release.

|
UMB002 / ADORE GENEVIÉVE PASQUIER: VIRGIN THOUGHTS
Minimal / Electro / Noise Pop
"Virgin Thoughts" was GENEVIÉVE PASQUIER´s critically acclaimed debut that had been out of print for several years. As a special feature "Virgin Thoughts" contained the infamous and naughty poster showing GENEVIÉVE in bondage. Reviewers and consumers as well praised the cold and sleazy minimal electronic character of "Virgin Thoughts".
Thankfully, the complete album is featured on the Ant-Zen compilation CD "Virgin Pulses" (act191), released in 2006.

|
UMB1/11 THOROFON: FINAL MOVEMENT + BLOODHEAT
Powerelectronics / Industrial / Minimal
The 10" "Bloodheat" was part of special boxset version of the second THOROFON-longplayer "Final Movement" that featured the LP and 10" in a special transparent plastic sleeve. Moreover, the 10"´s cover was additionally smeared with A.Knilpert´s blood. The boxset was limited to 100 copies.
Different to "Final Movement", "Bloodheat" had a more minimal electronic approach to the album´s theme.

|
UMB001 / RITALIN AKTIF THOROFON: FINAL MOVEMENT
Powerelectronics / Industrial
"Final Movement", the second full-time of THOROFON came along with their so far greatest hit "Riotdictator". Less harsh and more structured than its precursor "Maximum Punishment Solutions" (Stateart), "Final Movement" stood for the sound of uprising, constructive deconstructivism. A Post-Industrial Punk attitude.
"Final Movement" contained THOROFON´s first big dancefloor success - "Riotdictator" and several other modern genre classics.

POP
A hard-to-describe joint-venture with Zaetraom, the label run by ANENZEPHALIA. Meant to release DOGPOP music only.
 |
POP2 DOGPOP: LIVE WITHOUT BAND
Minimal / Dada Elektronik
"Live Without Band" was only sold at Tesco Festival in Antwerp 2007 where DOGPOP haunted the audience with a stunning performance. Besides demo versions of several songs also featured on the 2008 album "Jahrmarkt der verlorenen Kinder" (UMB007) the CD-R also contained some cult candidates such as "Spermarünstig" or "Egozid".

|

 |
 |
POP1 DOGPOP: POPGOD
Post-Industrial / Minimal / Dada Elektronik
DOGPOP is a collaboration of ANENZEPHALIA, THOROFON and friends. After a joint performance they collected material recorded throughout the past few years.
The result was a longplayer oscillating between minimal cold electronic classics with distinctive German vocals and soundtrack-like nightmares bearing a touch of Antipop.
DOGPOP constitutes itself as a mirror for consumism and the quite unhealthy urge to perfection, mixed with cut-up technology. Actually, this record won't help. Enjoy your everday anyday. "Popgod" is just 71% perfect, but that's far enough!

THOROFON live-recordings, demo-collections (M.A.O.) or unreleased material of A SWARM OF LOCUSTS.
 | UMBMC006
M.A.O.: LSD PINSEL
Old School-Industrial / E-Punk / Dada Elektronik
This is a selection of tracks recorded between 2005 and 2008. "LSD Pinsel" is quite old-school. Funky and ugly as well. The sound of M.A.O. is rough, entertaining (in a quite perverted way) and makes you go ´crazee´ afterwards.
It´s a document of the first episodes in their band history, a good-bye to one of their former band members and something like "Hello world, let´s have some abortion" in the same way, loudly screaming:
Nothing is beautiful. You are beautiful. You are nothing.

 | UMBMC005
A SWARM OF LOCUSTS: DISLODGED
Field Recordings / Soundscaping / Ambient
"Dislodged" presents the soundscapes for a never-released album of this interesting artist, known for his works on Stateart.

 | UMBMC004
YTTRIS OXIDES & HOMICIDE SOCIETY: OPEN MIND
Rhytmic Post-Industrial / Powerelectronics
Long forgotten recordings of pre-THOROFON-project YTTRIS OXIDES and a live collaboration with HOMICIDE SOCIETY.
Edgy 90´s Industrial.
|

 |
 | UMBMC003
UMBKOLLEKTIF: ANAL CHRISTMAS
Industrial / Noise / Thrash
Released guiding the performance of UMBKOLLEKTIF at Tonwellen Konferenz Festival in 2006. Funky, Sick and weird as well.
The perfect christmas present for your niece.
